Channel 14 began transmitting as an independent TV station on April 14th 1989. In 1993, Utah Jazz owner Larry H. Miller purchased the station, changing the call letters to KJZZ. Approximately 60 translator stations relay the signal to viewers in Utah, Wyoming, Nevada and Idaho. KJZZ is proud to be the flagship station for the NBA's Utah Jazz . | KJZZ 14 is looking for a dynamic individual to fill the role of New Business Development Representative. In this position you will be calling on businesses that have never done business with KJZZ 14 and selling them on the benefits of our advertising. This is not an entry level position, we are looking for someone who knows the Salt Lake market and can learn our product and can demonstrate the benefits of it to local businesses. |

| Duties: |

This position will be cold calling businesses in the local market that have never advertised with us and selling the benefits of advertising on KJZZ 14. Will involve a lot of cold calling business and presentations to decision makers. The individual in this position will need to have a lot of personal drive and great people skills to grow our account base. |

| Qualifications: |
|
|
Our ideal candidate will possess the folowing:
- At least 2 years of proven sales success, with media sales being preferred, and/or a college degree
- Professional sales and service experience.
- This is a New Business Development position so cold calling businesses is a must.
- Knowledge of the Salt Lake market is essential
- Organized and good eye for detail
